Since the introduction of Vision 2030, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has given great importance to the enhancement of local content.
The Authority has established an inclusive national definition for local content which is the total expenditure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the participation of Saudi elements in the workforce, goods, services, productive assets and technology.
Simply local content refers to the portion of expenses allocated to purchases made to government entities, private enterprises, or individuals.
